This wonderful gadget is saving my wrist from carpal tunnel one meal at a time! It is so much easier to push a button on the Artesio Electric Pepper Grinder and get freshly ground pepper using only one hand than to use two hands using a manual grinder. Thank you Ozeri for the pepper grinder pictured above!
This electric grinder requires 4 AA batteries which are not included. To install the batteries grab the grinder and twist until the white arrow is in line with the unlock image and pull top off.
Once your batteries are in place separate the peppercorn storage compartment from the rest of the grinder. You can then easily fill the compartment with peppercorns, sea salt or other spices. I chose to fill mine with peppercorn but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting another one soon for sea salt.
Then replace the battery compartment and the top sleeve by lining the white arrow with the unlock image and twisting to the locked position.
The grinder is ceramic and can easily be adjusted for a fine or coarse grind of your seasonings or spices. On the bottom of the mechanism there is a small dial. Turn it to the left for a larger grind or the right for a smaller grind. It is effortless to change the grind size, which is convenient if you have two people in one household that like their pepper with a different texture. You are now ready to season your food and it's as easy as pushing the silver button!
Every once-in-a-while you may enjoy a candle lit dinner with your love. The Artesio Pepper Grinder has a light, which comes on automatically when you push the grinder button. This will assure you can see just how much of your seasoning you are using so you get the perfect amount, even in low lighting!
